Information about the Otzar HaHochma Site

Otzar HaHochma is the world's largest digital library of more than 53,367 Judaic books.

The digital library more than 53,367 Judaic books scanned page by page in their original fomat, from ancient times to the modern period, from the beginning of print until the present day, from the early days of the printing press to the present digital age. The library consists of books encompassing all realms of Judaism.

Aside from the value of the books themselves, the Otzar HaHochma program is a highly developed learning aid.The sophisticated search engine based on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) with a very high precision rate allows maximum accessibility to the books and their content.

The digital library consists of old and rare books, first editions, rare publications, memorial volumes, journals and thousands of the latest copyrighted books from the leading publishing houses.

Converts the scanned page images to text files using OCR technology.
